'Beholder' (Below) A piece dealing with the struggles of identity in a bizarre deconstruction that was the first in the series of paintings I like to call my 'Eye Phase'

'Pebbles of the Storm' (Below) -A beautiful still-life of rocks I collected on shore of Lake Superior enhanced by the masked style in some of my other works.

'Tides of Thought' (Below) - A surrealist look at the thought patterns that can sometimes swirl and churn like waves during a storm.
'Lavender Dreams' (Below) - and exaggerated look at the iris using experimental techniques during the 'eye phase'
'Oxytocin' (Below) - Oxytocin is the chemical produced by the brain during times of bonding and often time love. This piece and the colors were inspired by feelings of love and affection for my beautiful wife.
'Death' (Below) -This piece while still in the 'eye phase' starts exploring more representative subject matter. This piece is inspired by the Death card in Tarot readings. Death is a time of letting the old things be done and new things have their place.
